Summer is cruising toward its conclusion (school here starts on August 18!) but there is still a host of fun stuff going on.
The short list of things the Insider is excited about includes:
Cars in the Park. The 3rd annual Cars in the Park returns to Nottingham Park in Avon on Saturday, 8/22 from 10AM to 4PM, with everything from classic favorites to modern supercars on display against a Beaver Creek backdrop. Owners of vehicles registered for the show will get to vote on the Top Ten Vehicles and Best in Show.
The Lovin’ Spoonful plays the Beav. Do you believe in magic?…! Take a little step back in time - the current incarnation of the popular 60’s rock band (including original bassist Steve Boone) is playing the finale of the Beaver Creek Creekside Park free series this summer on Friday afternoon, August 28, from 2pm-4pm.
Eagle Community Table Dinner. This event returns Sunday, August 30, from 4PM to 7PM on Capitol Street between Founders Avenue and Sylvan Lake Road in Eagle Ranch. Neighbors gather at town-provided tables for a pot-luck dinner, decor contests, live music, and community connections. It’s free, happens rain or shine, with each table seating 8 and one host coordinating the potluck. Register here.
Don’t forget that you can check multiple event calendars all in one spot on our website!
